     One of the very best gifts you can get a book lover is an antique book. Books by authors like Mark Twain, Jack London, Ernest Hemmingway and Washington Irving. First editions are very rare books, some of these authors wrote books over 100 years ago. Books were the pages are so old that you have to be careful. You have seen a book from Mark Twain he wrote Tom Sawyer, you have seen the soft cover book, you probably read in school or taken it out form the library but what if you could see or even own a first edition, it would be amazing.

First edition books from those authors are very hard to find and rather expensive. There are other antique books that are available, they may not be first edition books but they may be as old as 100 years. That would make them antiques, which are perfect for antique collectors as well as book collectors.

If you go into a vintage book store or even an antique store to find these hard to find books. Sometimes they have a copy or two because no one would think that they would have it. You may be able to find one online was well. Check the many retail stores online, search fro antique books; you will be able to find something you like or the perfect gift for someone.
